Here's a look at what's happening in 'Pokemon Go' next month.
As we head into July 2022, there are lots of updates and events to look forward to in Pokemon Go!
Here’s a breakdown of some of the content coming to Pokemon Go in July 2022.
From July 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. PT until August 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. PT, players will receive an encounter with Likitung each time they achieve a Research Breakthrough. As a reminder, players will achieve a Research Breakthrough each time they complete at least one Field Research task on seven separate days (it doesn’t have to be seven days in a row).
Four Pokemon will appear in Tier-5 Raids in July 2022. Here’s the schedule:
A Raid Hour event will take place each Wednesday in July from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. During each event, more Tier-5 Raids will appear at Gyms than normal, which feature the Pokemon that’s appearing in Tier-5 Raids at the time. Here’s the schedule:
Here are the Pokemon that will appear in Mega Raids in July 2022:
A Spotlight Hour event will take place each Tuesday in July from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Here are the Pokemon and bonuses that will be featured during these events:
Pokemon Go Anniversary Event – This event will run from July 6, 2022 until July 12, 2022. More details about this event will be released in the future.
Pokemon Go Community Day – July’s Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on July 17, 2022. The event will feature Starly. You can learn more about this event in our previous coverage.
??? Event – This event will run from July 27, 2022 until August 2, 2022. More details about this event will be released in the future.
Players will have the chance to unlock “Ultra Unlock” bonuses that will apply to the “Anniversary Event” and the “??? Event” during the two Pokemon Go Fest events that will take place in July 2022. Pokemon Go Fest Berlin will take place from July 1, 2022 to July 3, 2022, while Pokemon Go Fest Seattle will take place from July 22 to July 24, 2022.
