If enough players enter to win, everyone will receive free in-game items.

Ahead of the April 2022 Pokemon Go Community Day event, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, has launched a sweepstakes on the game’s official Twitter account that will see one grand prize winner receive a trip for two to Hawaii.

To enter the sweepstakes, fans can follow the official Pokemon Go Twitter account and retweet the sweepstakes tweet.

This sweepstakes will end on April 23, 2022. After that point, one grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to Hawaii, as well as a “Tropical-themed avatar outfit set” for their in-game avatar in Pokemon Go.

In addition, Niantic said, “In honor of Sustainability Week, Niantic will also provide opportunities for the winners to work with sustainable organizations in Hawaii during their visit”.

In addition to selecting a grand prize winner, Niantic will also select 100 runner-up prize winners who will receive the Tropical-themed avatar outfit set in Pokemon Go.

Finally, if enough people retweet the sweepstakes tweet on Twitter, Niantic will give all Pokemon Go players up to three free items in Pokemon Go. These items will be given away in a box in the in-game store. This box will be available for all players to collect, even if they don’t enter the sweepstakes.

Here are the retweet milestones and the items that will be given away if the milestones are met:

  • 10,000 retweets – 1 Lure Module
  • 20,000 retweets – 1 Lucky Egg
  • 30,000 retweets – 1 Premium Battle Pass

You can learn more about this sweepstakes and read the official rules on the Pokemon Go website.
