Pokemon Go Is Adding Daily Adventure Incense

Players will be able to use one Daily Adventure Incense for free each day.

As Serebii.net spotted, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, revealed details about a new item in Pokemon Go called “Daily Adventure Incense.”

On the Pokemon Go website, Niantic said, “Daily Adventure Incense will continue rolling out to players over the next week.”

Daily Adventure Incense is a new kind of Incense that Pokemon Go players will be able to activate once per day for free. Once the Daily Adventure Incense is activated, it will attract wild Pokemon to the player’s current location for 15 minutes so long as the player is moving.

The Pokemon Go website offered some details about the Daily Adventure Incense:

“Daily Adventure Incense lasts for 15 minutes once activated. While exploring during this time, you may encounter Pokémon not frequently seen in the wild.”

If players have 30 or less Balls in their inventory when they activate a Daily Adventure Incense (Poke Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls combined), they’ll receive 30 free Poke Balls, so long as their Item Bag isn’t full.

Niantic said players can’t have two kinds of Incense active at the same time. That means if you already have a regular Incense active on your profile, you’ll need to wait for it to expire before being able to activate your Daily Adventure Incense. Or, if your Daily Adventure Incense is active, you’ll need to wait for it to expire before being able to activate a normal Incense.

On the Pokemon Go website, Niantic shared details about what will happen after players use their Daily Adventure Incense:

“If you catch any Pokémon during the 15 minutes that Daily Adventure Incense is active, you will be presented with a recap showing all the Pokémon you caught. You can easily share this recap on social media!”

Finally, with the release of this feature, players can complete new Special Research tasks to receive in-game rewards.
