This pocket monster was introduced in the 'Pokemon Legends: Arceus' video game.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released on Nintendo Switch on January 28. To celebrate the release, Pokemon Go has launched a small event inspired by Hisuian Voltorb, one of the new Pokemon found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
From now until the end of the Lunar New Year event on February 7, 2022, Hisuian Voltorb will appear in the wild. As of this writing, Hisuian Voltorb can not be evolved.
This event will also allow players to complete a series of Special Research tasks inspired by Hisuian Voltorb.
Finally, from 12 a.m local time until 11:59 p.m. local time on January 31, 2022, all Team Go Rocket Grunts will only use Shadow Voltorb in their teams.
