Pokemon Go: Gardevoir and Gallade Can Learn Synchronoise This Community Day

Friday, August 2nd, 2019 6:00 am

August's event takes place early in the month.

Trainers, another Pokemon Go Community Day is right around the corner, and this one is more unique than most.

On August 3 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Ralts will appear more often than normal in the wild. Players will also have the chance to encounter its rare Shiny form.

Ralts is a Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokemon from Generation III of the Pokemon universe (seen in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, which were released on Game Boy Advance in North America in 2003).

What makes this event unique is that Ralts has two different evolutionary paths. Once players evolve Ralts into Kirlia using 25 Ralts Candy, they can evolve Kirlia into either Gardevoir or Gallade, depending on its gender.

As with past Community Day events, there’s an exclusive battle move up for grabs this weekend. When players evolve Kirlia into either Gardevoir or Gallade during this Community Day event, and for up to one hour afterward, it will learn the exclusive move Synchronoise. Since both Gardevoir and Gallade can learn this special move, that means you’ll need to collect more Candy than normal if you want to have “one of everything.”

Finally, Lure Modules will remain active for three hours when placed on a PokeStop during the three hour Community Day window, rather than the standard 30 minutes. Plus, Eggs will hatch after walking just 1/4 of the normal required distance if they’re placed into an Incubator during this event.
