Pokemon Go Fest 2022 Finale Event: Buzzwole Raids, Pheromosa Raids, and More

Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 8:10 am

A portion of this event will be available to all players for free.

Update (08/09/2022): As spotted by PokeMiners, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, moved Panpour from the Incense spawn list for the Ultra Incursion: Nihilego habitat period to the Incense spawn list for the Ultra Incursion: Xurkitree habitat period. We’ve updated the lists below to reflect this change.

Original Story:

As spotted by Serebii.net, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, revealed details surrounding the Pokemon Go Fest 2022: Finale event that will take place later this year.

The Pokemon Go Fest 2022: Finale event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on August 27, 2022. This event will be available to all players around the world.

Some of this event’s content will be available to all players for free, while other content will only be available to players who have a ticket for the event.

Tickets for the Pokemon Go Fest 2022: Finale event are now available to purchase in Pokemon Go for $10.99. If players previously purchased a ticket for the Pokemon Go Fest 2022 event that took place in June 2022, they will receive a ticket for the Finale event at no additional cost.

Players who purchase a ticket for the Pokemon Go Fest 2022: Finale event, as well as those who previously purchased a ticket for the Pokemon Go Fest event in June, will have the option to purchase up to three gift tickets for the Pokemon Go Fest 2022: Finale event for their Pokemon Go friends at a lower price of $4.99 each.

Ticket holders will be able to complete three Special Research storylines in addition to the free Special Research storyline that will be available to all players. Ticket holders will need to complete the free Special Research storyline before they can collect the first premium Special Research storyline. From there, they’ll be able to complete the three premium Special Research storylines in order.

Each premium Special Research storyline will become available to collect during one of the timed habitat hours that will be available during the Pokemon Go Fest: Finale event. However, players won’t be required to finish these storylines before the event ends. On the Pokemon Go website, Niantic said, “So long as you claim the first Special Research story during the event, you’ll be able to complete it and any remaining Special Research stories whenever you want.”

As players complete these premium Special Research storylines, they’ll receive rewards including in-game items, an encounter with Sky Forme Shaymin, and avatar items.

Finally, a different selection of Pokemon will be attracted to Incense during each timed habitat that will be available during this event. Again, these Pokemon will only be attracted to Incense if the Incense was activated by a player who has a ticket for the event. Here’s the schedule:
