You can spend real money to unlock extra content for this month's event.
Trainers, May’s Community Day event is almost here in Pokemon Go! On May 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Seedot will appear more often than normal in the wild, and you may even encounter a Shiny Seedot!
As part of this month’s event, you have the option to spend real money on a ticket that will give you access to a Special Research storyline called “Seeding Double.” This ticket costs $0.99 to purchase, and it must be purchased using real money, rather than PokeCoins.
If you complete the tasks in this Special Research storyline, you’ll receive a variety of in-game rewards, including three Incense and five Golden Razz Berries, among others.
While May’s Community Day event doesn’t start until May 24, the ticket is available to purchase now from the in-game store. Once you buy it, the ticket will remain in your in-game item inventory until the event begins at 11 a.m. on May 24.
Keep in mind that there’s no requirement to spend real money on this ticket if you’re not interested in accessing the Seeing Double storyline or earning its rewards. It’s simply an extra option for players who want to experience more content on Community Day.
