The game's developer revealed new details about the second half of Season 6.

Season 6 of the Pokemon Go Battle League kicked off on November 30, 2020. When the season began, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, had only announced the League schedule for the first half of the three-month season. Now, however, we know what to expect in the second half of Season 6, which begins later this month.

Here’s the full calendar:

Great League – January 11 at 1 p.m. PT until January 25 at 1 p.m. PT

Ultra League (and its Premier Cup) – January 25 at 1 p.m. PT until February 8 at 1 p.m. PT

Master League, its Premier Cup, Master League Classic and an unannounced cup – February 8 at 1 pm. PT until February 15 at 1 p.m. PT

All three Leagues and the Ultra League Premier Cup – February 15 at 1 p.m. PT until February 22 at 1 p.m. PT

Kanto Cup – February 22 at 1 p.m. PT until March 1 at 1 p.m. PT. This cup has a CP limit of 1,500, and only Pokemon from the Kanto region of the Pokemon universe will be allowed to compete (those with a Pokedex number of 001 – 151).

In addition to revealing this schedule, Niantic also announced new rewards that players will receive as they rise through the ranks during Season 6.

Specifically, when players reach rank 19, they’ll receive an Elite Charged TM. Plus, every player who reaches at least rank 19 will receive an Elite Fast TM as part of their end-of-season rewards when Season 6 is over.

When players reach rank 20 during Season 6, they’ll receive a guaranteed encounter with Frillish, which hasn’t previously appeared in Pokemon Go. Frillish will also have the chance to appear as a reward encounter at ranks above level 20.

Finally, Niantic detailed a number of changes that have been made to specific attacks. Here’s the full list of these changes, straight from the Pokemon Go website:
