Pokemon Go A Seven-Colored Shadow Special Research Tasks Guide

Trainers, a new series of Special Research tasks called “A Seven-Colored Shadow” has launched in Pokemon Go.

As reported by Leek Duck, these tasks will allow players to earn a Super Rocket Radar, which they can use to take on Giovanni and encounter Shadow Ho-Oh!

According to Leek Duck, here’s what these Special Research tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them.

A Seven-Colored Shadow Part 1

• Catch 10 Pokemon – An encounter with Teddiursa
• Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms – 1 Sun Stone
• Purify 1 Shadow Pokemon – 15 Poke Balls

Final Rewards: 1,500 experience points, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Gloom

A Seven-Colored Shadow Part 2

• Defeat 5 Team Go Rocket Grunts – 5 Hyper Potions
• Catch 5 Shadow Pokemon – 5 Revives
• Purify 3 Shadow Pokemon – 15 Great Balls

Final Rewards: 2,000 experience points, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Xatu

A Seven-Colored Shadow Part 3

• Use 3 Supereffective Charged Attacks in Gym Battles – 1 Fast TM
• Battle Another Trainer in the Great League – 1 Charged TM
• Purify 5 Shadow Pokemon – 15 Ultra Balls

Final Rewards: 2,500 experience points, 1000 Stardust, and a Rocket Radar

A Seven-Colored Shadow Part 4

• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Arlo – An encounter with Flareon
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff – An encounter with Vaporeon
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Sierra – An encounter with Jolteon

Final Rewards: 2,500 experience points, 1,000 Stardust, and a Super Rocket Radar

A Seven-Colored Shadow Part 5

• Find the Team Go Rocket Boss – 5 Max Potions
• Battle the Team Go Rocket Boss – 5 Max Revives
• Defeat the Team Go Rocket Boss – 1 King’s Rock

Final Rewards: 3,000 experience points, 2000 Stardust, and an encounter with Larvitar

• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points

Final Rewards: 2 Silver Pinap Berries, 2,000 Stardust, and 1 Lucky Egg
