Help plum blossoms bloom!

The next Pikmin Bloom Community Day event will take place on February 19, 2022. Rather than being a limited time event, this event will be available all day on February 19.

During February’s Pikmin Bloom Community Day event, Big Flowers will bloom into plum blossoms when players plant regular red, yellow, white, or blue petals around the Big Flowers.

In addition, seedlings in player’s planter packs will grow at 1.5x the usual speed during Community Day. This speed will be increased even more if players are actively planting flowers.

If players walk 10,000 steps or more on February 19, they’ll receive a Plum Blossom Flower Badge for their in-game profile.

Finally, players will receive one in-game coin for every 250 flowers they plant on Community Day. Typically, players earn one coin for every 500 flowers they plant. Players can earn a maximum of 60 coins per day in Pikmin Bloom.

Elsewhere, for February’s Community Day event, Niantic, the developer of Pikmin Bloom, partnered with flower company BloomsyBox to give away free bouquets and discount codes to Pikmin Bloom players in the U.S. that can be redeemed on the BloomsyBox website.

Specifically, all players who reach 10,000 or more steps during February’s Pikmin Bloom Community Day event will be eligible to receive a discount code that they can redeem on the BloomsyBox website.

In addition, everyone who reaches 10,000 or more steps during February’s Community Day will be entered into a drawing to win a free bouquet from BloomsyBox. This drawing will have 2,000 winners.
