The tour will bring Nintendo-themed activities to locations across the U.S.

Nintendo will hit the road this summer and bring its Summer of Play tour to eight locations across the U.S. At each stop, families will be able to play a selection of Nintendo Switch games, collect free Nintendo-themed goodies, and more.

The Nintendo Summer of Play tour will make eight stops from June 15, 2023 to August 28, 2023. Here’s the schedule:

  • June 15 – June 18, 2023 – Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN
  • June 22 – June 25, 2023 – Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Detroit, MI
  • June 29 – July 2, 2023 – Meatpacking District Pop Up in New York, NY
  • July 7 – July 10, 2023 – West Town Mall in Knoxville, TN
  • July 20 – July 23, 2023 – The Florida Mall in Orlando, FL
  • July 28 – July 31, 2023 – Barton Creek Square in Austin, TX
  • August 17 – August 20, 2023 – FlatIron Crossing in Denver, CO
  • August 25 – August 28, 2023 – Santa Monica Place in Los Angeles, CA

At each location, visitors will be able to try Switch games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The event will also allow kids (and adults) to take pictures in photo opportunities inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and the upcoming Switch game Pikmin 4.

When families arrive at the Summer of Play tour, they’ll be able to collect a Summer of Play passport that they can have stamped as they complete various activities at the event. Once the passport is complete, they can collect free Nintendo-themed goodies, while supplies last.

Plus, if fans check in with My Nintendo at the event, Nintendo account holders can receive a free gift (also while supplies last) and 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Finally, families can collect a GameStop coupon for “$10 off a purchase of $75 or more on select Nintendo video games and accessories.”
