New York Toy Fair 2020: Funko Showed Off New Toys Called Snapsies

They're seriously adorable.

This year’s New York Toy Fair takes place in New York City from February 22 to February 25. Ahead of the event, Funko revealed an adorable new line of toys called Snapsies.

Unlike Funko’s many lines of pop culture-themed collectibles (like its vinyl Pop figures), which are inspired by existing brands, films, television shows, and more, Snapsies are based on new characters, including a unicorn named Jett, a mountain goat named Billie, and a hedgehog named Boe.

Snapsies will be available in interactive vending machines that have a touchscreen display. Each Snapsies comes in a capsule, and, like other blind bag toys, you won’t know which one you’ll receive beforehand.

This is similar to Funko’s multiple lines of Paka Paka collectibles, which are also sold in vending machines (they’re found in select GameStop and ThinkGeek stores). Plus, Paka Paka figures are also sold as blind bags, so you won’t know which figure you’ll receive before you make a purchase.

Snapsies will be available this fall, starting at Target.
