The free Apocalypse Plus update is also available.

Minecraft Dungeons, the kid-friendly dungeon-crawling game set in the blocky world of Minecraft, is celebrating Halloween with a “Spooky Fall Event” that’s available now for a limited time.

The Spooky Fall Event will run from now until November 3 at 12 a.m. local time. The event will allow players to complete difficult “Seasonal Trials” and experience a “Night Mode” in order to receive exclusive gear and weapons that will only be available through this event.

This Halloween event is available for all Minecraft Dungeons players. You don’t need to own any of the game’s downloadable content (DLC) packs to try it out.

In addition to this Halloween event, another free update — called Apocalypse Plus — has also been released for Minecraft Dungeons. This update adds 20 new difficulty levels after the Apocalypse VII setting, which are available for all players who are looking for an extra challenge. Again, you don’t need to own any of the game’s DLC to access the Apocalypse Plus update.

While the Spooky Fall Event will only be available in Minecraft Dungeons for a limited time, the Apocalypse Plus update is a permanent addition to the game.
