Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass DLC Is Coming in August

Eight more tracks are coming to the kart-racing game.

Earlier in 2022, Nintendo released the Booster Course Pass downloadable content (DLC) for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch. This DLC will add 48 additional courses to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which will be released in six waves before the end of 2023.

The first wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC was released on March 18, 2022. And now, Nintendo has announced that Wave 2 will be released on August 4, 2022.

Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass DLC will add eight tracks and two Cups to the kart-racing game. Many of these tracks are remastered courses that were originally seen in previous Mario Kart titles.

Here’s the breakdown of the two Cups and the tracks that will be included in each:

Turnip Cup

  • New York Minute (From Mario Kart Tour)
  • Mario Circuit 3 (From Super Mario Kart)
  • Kalimari Desert (From Mario Kart 64)
  • Waluigi Pinball (From Mario Kart DS)

Propeller Cup

  • Sydney Sprint (From Mario Kart Tour)
  • Snow Land (From Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
  • Mushroom Gorge (From Mario Kart Wii)
  • Sky-High Sundae

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC is priced at $24.99. Players will need to own the base game of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to access the DLC. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is currently available for $59.99.

Players will also need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription if they want to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online.
