Littles can complete activities featuring Sesame Street characters.
BEGiN, the company behind learning programs like Homer and codeSpark Academy, and Sesame Workshop partnered to launch Learn With Sesame Street, a mobile app that offers learning activities for kids aged 2-5 that feature Sesame Street characters.
The Learn With Sesame Street app is free to download and try on iOS and Android devices. The app features social-emotional and academic learning activities that are split into different areas around a virtual town, such as a Playground, Community Center, and Hooper’s Store. The activities in each area are focused on a different theme, such as conflict resolution and trying new foods. These activities may include things like interactive stories, songs, and more.
The free version of the app allows kids to try activities in the game’s School area. These activities are focused on making new friends and understanding different emotions, such as happiness and nervousness.
While only a few activities are available for free, families can unlock access to all of the app’s content for a one-time purchase of $9.99. The “Grown-Ups Only” section of the app is blocked off by default. Users must enter their birth year before they can access this area and purchase the app’s premium content.
The premium content in the Learn With Sesame Street app can also be unlocked as part of a bundle on Homer’s website that includes Homer Learn & Grow and Learn With Sesame Street for a single monthly price. A free trial for this bundle is also available through Homer’s website.
