The mechanical keyboard features media keys, RGB lighting, and more.

Peripheral manufacturer HyperX launched its latest gaming keyboard: The Alloy Elite 2.

This mechanical keyboard is compatible with PC, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, it can also be used for more than just gaming.

According to the HyperX website, it has “dedicated keys for media, profiles, and Game Mode.” For instance, it has a large volume wheel and media keys (back, forward, play/pause, and mute) that allow you to quickly access these features while watching movies or listening to music (or even doing school work at your desk).

The Alloy Elite 2 features full RGB lighting and translucent keycaps that allow light to shine through them. You can use HyperX’s NGENUITY computer software to change the keyboard’s lighting effects, and you have the option to control this lighting at the “per-key” level. That is, you can customize the color of each key individually, or choose from a variety of stock effects.

If you’re looking to invest in a gaming keyboard for your young kids or teens, the Alloy Elite 2 has a steel frame, making it a durable option for these age groups. Plus, the keyboard has a USB port that allows you to plug in another device if you need to.

The Alloy Elite 2 Gaming Keyboard is available now for $129.99. To learn more about it, head over to HyperX’s website.
