The winning design will be turned into a real-world Hot Wheels toy.
Mattel and video game developer Milestone have announced the Hot Wheels Unleashed Design Battle, a design competition for players of Hot Wheels Unleashed, a racing game that allows players to race Hot Wheels vehicles around a variety of tracks (you can learn more about Hot Wheels Unleashed in our review).
The Hot Wheels Unleashed Design Battle will ask players to create a livery design for the Hot Wheels Rodger Dodger vehicle within Hot Wheels Unleashed. This competition will run from January 14, 2022 until February 14, 2022. Players can enter by selecting the banner for this competition within the game and then creating and submitting their design. Only adults may enter to the competition.
After the entry period closes, a panel of judges will select the winning design, which will be turned into a real-world Hot Wheels toy. This Hot Wheels vehicle will be available to purchase around the world in December 2022.
Hot Wheels Unleashed is available on Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. However, this competition isn’t available on Switch.
