Get behind the wheel.

Mattel and video game developer Milestone have announced Hot Wheels Unleashed, a new arcade-style racing game inspired by the popular Hot Wheels diecast vehicles.

In Hot Wheels Unleashed, players will be able to test their driving skills in a variety of single-player and multiplayer game modes. The game’s multiplayer modes will support both online and offline play

Racers will be able to choose from a variety of Hot Wheels vehicles, which each have different attributes and can be customized with visual skins. The game’s tracks will feature Hot Wheels’ orange track pieces, along with elements like loops and jumps.

Finally, Hot Wheels Unleashed will feature a Track Editor that allows players to create their own race tracks and then share them online for other players to try.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will be released on Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on September 30, 2021. It’s available to pre-order now. Fans who pre-order the game will receive the “Hot Wheels – Beefed Up Pack,” which includes the HW Armored Truck and Baja Bone Shaker vehicles for the game.

Hot Wheels Unleashed has yet to be rated by the ESRB, but since the Hot Wheels brand is family-friendly, the game will be as well.
