Harry Potter Wizards Unite Launches Fantastic Flora and Fauna Brilliant Event

For a limited time, players can help Hagrid return rare Foundables to the Wizarding World.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite launched its first Brilliant Event, giving players the opportunity to collect some rare Foundables for their Registry collection. The Fantastic Flora and Fauna Brilliant Event will run from now until July 10 at 11 a.m. PT.

During that time, players can encounter “Brilliant Traces” that will appear at random on the in-game map. These traces have a purple symbol and a purple beam of light shooting up through them, so they should be easy to spot.

When players tap on a Brilliant Trace, they’ll be able to cast a spell for a chance to return a Brilliant Foundable to the Wizarding World. For this Fantastic Flora and Fauna event, there are six different types of Foundables to collect. You can keep track of the Foundables you’ve collected by visiting the event’s page in the in-game Registry.

Players can also complete a series of Special Assignments, or quests, during this event, to receive extra in-game rewards.

Finally, players may also come across Brilliant Portkey Portmanteaus as part of this event. These work similarly to regular Portmanteaus, in that they need a key to open, and also require players to walk a certain distance. Brilliant Portkey Portmanteaus will contain items like Brilliant Foundable fragments, Wizard experience points, Family experience points, and potion ingredients.

As players participate in this event, they’ll earn Family experience points that will help them increase their Family rank on the Fantastic Flora and Fauna page in the Registry. When players rank up, they’ll earn Treasure Trunks that may contain Brilliant Runestones that they can use at in-game Fortresses.

While this is the first Brilliant Event in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, it likely won’t be the last. We’ll let you know as more Brilliant Events are held in the future.
