Fortnite and TikTok Want to Turn Your Dance Moves Into an Emote

Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 8:54 am

Users can participate in the Emote Royale Contest by sharing a dance video on TikTok.

Fortnite and video-sharing app TikTok have partnered to launch the Emote Royale Contest, which asks fans to record a video of themselves dancing for a chance to have that dance turned into an in-game emote in Fortnite.

To enter the contest, users need to record a video of themselves dancing to one of the contest’s “pre-selected Fortnite tracks” (which you can download here), and share the video on TikTok with the hashtag #EmoteRoyaleContest.

The winning dance will become an in-game emote, and the dance’s creator will receive 25,000 V-Bucks and a “Fortnite VIP giveaway package.”

Dance videos can be submitted from now until January 24 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Users need to be at least 13 years old to enter.
