Kids can go on a horse-filled adventure this summer.

Later this year, Outright Games, in partnership with Universal Games and Digital Platforms, will release a new open-world adventure game set in DreamWorks’ “Spirit” universe. Outright Games is the publisher behind many video games for kids, including Gigantosaurus: The Game and Ben 10: Power Trip, among many others.

Inspired by the upcoming film Spirit Untamed (which is expected to be released in June), DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure will feature an original story that allows players to help Lucky, Abigail, and Pru as they try to find “hidden treasure in Miradero.”

In Lucky’s Big Adventure, players will be able to explore an open world where they can find collectibles, rescue animals, participate in horse races, and more. Players will also be able to groom Lucky’s horse to make him stronger, as well as dress Lucky in different outfits and accessories.

In a press release, Jim Molinets, svp of production at Universal Games and Digital Platforms, commented on the game:

“With this new game, we will explore the themes of true friendship and daring adventures in authentic, fresh and creative ways. The world of Miradero will be brought to life in this interactive coming-of-age story that will delight fans and introduce the vibrant world to new audiences.”

DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure will be released on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in summer 2021. Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll bring you more details about the game as we learn more.
