The free-to-play game will be released in 2023.

Gameloft, the company behind games like Lego Star Wars Castaways and Asphalt 9: Legends, announced Disney Dreamlight Valley, a free-to-play life simulation and adventure game for consoles and PC.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will be able to help Disney and Pixar characters rebuild a village after an event called “The Forgetting,” which has left the environment full of thorns.

Players will be able to travel to Disney and Pixar inspired worlds, as well as help Disney and Pixar characters restore their memories. As players progress, they’ll be able to customize the look of their village and their in-game character.

Finally, the game will allow players to complete activities like fishing, cooking, and gardening.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on Switch, PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, PC, and Mac in 2023.

In summer 2022, players will have the chance to play the Early Access version of the game if they purchase a Founder’s Pack or play the game with an Xbox Game Pass membership. These players will be able to collect exclusive in-game prizes that they’ll be able to keep once the game is officially released.
