Want a Creeper jack-o-lantern? How about a Pikachu pumpkin? There's a template for that.
Halloween will be here before you know it, so there’s no better time to start planning for this year’s pumpkin carving spooktacular.
Cool Mom Tech shared a list of almost 100 pumpkin carving templates for fans of video games and major pop culture franchises like Star Wars and Doctor Who.
For video game fans, Cool Mom Tech found a site called Pumpkin Pile, which has a bunch of templates to download, from Mario and Luigi to Pikachu and the Angry Birds. If you want to stick with a spooky theme this Halloween, you can even carve your pumpkin into a creeper from Minecraft, or Boo, the ghost from the Mario franchise.
Before you download one of these templates, make sure you consider the project’s difficulty. Some patterns are more complex than others, and the last thing you want is to accidentally cut off a character’s arm or leg.
If you want to avoid the risk (and the mess) of carving an intricate pattern into a pumpkin this Halloween, stores like Target and Amazon sell pumpkin decorating kits that contain things like stickers and picks that you can use to transform a pumpkin, no carving required.
