Players can wear the popular video game character on their backs.
Pac-Man has come to Fortnite via the release of two cosmetic items that are now available in Fortnite’s Item Shop.
First, players can pick up the animated Pac-Man Back Bling. This Back Bling will place Pac-Man on the player’s back. While they’re playing, Pac-Man will face left or right to match their movements. Plus, when players land or take damage, Pac-Man will “pixelate.”
The Pac-Man Back Bling also includes four other visual options representing the four main ghosts from the Pac-Man video game franchise: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde. Players have the option to switch out Pac-Man and wear one of these ghosts on their back instead.
Similar to the Pac-Man option, the ghost will look up, down, left, or right as players move, and they’ll “pixelate” when players land. When players take damage, the ghost will turn to blue, and when players go “down but not out,” the ghost will become just eyes.
The second new item is the Pac-Brained Emote. When players activate this Emote, their character will sit on an arcade stool and play a quick game of Pac-Man that appears above their head. You can watch a video of the Pac-Brained Emote in action on Fortnite’s website.
