If you’re a fan of Pokemon and also enjoy a good nap, Build-A-Bear’s newest stuffed animal may be the perfect friend for you. Snorlax, the plump Pokemon that loves to eat and sleep, is the latest addition to Build-A-Bear’s line of Pokemon plushies.
The Snorlax stuffed animal is 16 inches tall, making it one of the tallest Pokemon plushes currently available. The rest (like Pikachu and Charmander) are 13-15 inches tall, with Meowth being the only other critter that measures in at 16 inches.
Snorlax is also much larger in terms of its overall size. In fact, it’s so big that Build-A-Bear’s website says it can’t fit inside the company’s “standard-size gift box or Cub Condo.” (A Cub Condo is the cardboard box most animals are taken home in when purchased at Build-A-Bear retail locations.)
The Snorlax plush goes for $35 if you purchase it on its own in stores. If you want to pick it up online, you’ll need to spend a bit more on the Online Exclusive Snorlax Bundle, which costs $57. For that price, you’ll receive a pre-stuffed Snorlax, a sleeping cap and robe for it to wear, a 5-in-1 Snorlax Sound module that will be placed inside the plush, and an exclusive Snorlax card for the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
