Animal Crossing is celebrating Hinamatsuri.

Update (02/25/2021): The official Animal Crossing Twitter account said the Blossom Lantern and Hinaningyo items will be available in New Horizons on alternating days. If you don’t see the Blossom Lantern decoration in the Nook Shopping catalog, check again the next day and it should be there.

Original Story:

March 3 is Hinamatsuri in Japan, and to celebrate, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been updated with a Blossom Lantern decoration that players can purchase and/or send to their in-game friends.

Here’s how to get the Blossom Lantern in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

Remember, if you choose to order one of these Blossom Lanterns for yourself, it won’t arrive in your mailbox until the next day.

The Blossom Lantern will only be available in New Horizons until March 3, so make sure to buy as many as you think you’ll want or need now, before the item goes away!
