You can also customize umbrellas, small flags, and more!

The March 2021 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons features lots of quality-of-life improvements for players, including the ability to unlock more custom design slots!

With this update, players can save even more player-created designs and use them to decorate their island, furniture, and/or clothing. They can also customize umbrellas, small flags, face-cutout standees, and uchiwa fans.

After you update Animal Crossing: New Horizons to the game’s latest version, you won’t have access to these new features and extra design slots automatically. Instead, you’ll need to spend a few Nook Miles to unlock them. Here’s how!

Head into the Resident Services building and interact with the Nook Stop terminal.
