Here's everything you need to know about this ocean fish!
From watching fireworks shows to drifting off to sleep, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has lots of things to do during these busy summer months. You can also catch a variety of fish and bugs that make their appearance during the summer. One of those fish is the puffer fish, and it’s now appearing in the ocean around islands in the Northern Hemisphere.
Specifically, the puffer fish will appear on islands in the Northern Hemisphere from July to September. According to AllGamers, it will appear on islands in the Southern Hemisphere from January to March. The puffer fish can appear at any time of day.
The puffer fish has a medium-sized shadow, which you can see in action in our gameplay clip below. That way, you’ll know exactly which shadow to look for when you’re trying to add this critter to your collection.
Puffer fish sell for 250 Bells each at Nook’s Cranny, or you can earn a bit more for them if you sell them to C.J. when he visits your island. Also keep in mind that you’ll need to donate one of these fish to Blathers at the museum if you want to complete your island collection.
