Pokemon Masters EX Blasting Off Again Event Lets You Collect James and Weezing

A Family Ties Story Event is also available for a limited time.

Team Rocket is back for another special story event in Pokemon Masters EX on mobile devices. In July of 2020, players had the chance to collect the Sync Pair of Jessie & Arbok through the “Double Trouble” story event, and now, they can complete the “Blasting Off Again” event to collect the Sync Pair of James & Weezing.

The Blasting Off Again event will be available to complete from now until January 24 at 9:59 p.m. PT. You’ll need to have completed at least Chapter 1 of the game’s main story to access this event. If you complete the event in time, you’ll unlock James & Weezing for your collection.

In addition to this new story event, there are lots of other updates and events going on right now in Pokemon Masters EX. Here are the highlights:

Family Ties Story Event – From now until September 30 at 10:59 p.m. PT, you can complete the Family Ties story event, which features Lusamine, Lillie, and Gladion, who are entering a Pokemon tournament.

New Sync Pair Spotlight Scouts – From now until the end of September, you can collect three new Sync Pairs from Sync Pair Spotlight Scouts: Lusamine & Pheromosa, Lillie & Clefairy, and Gladion & Silvally. All three of these Sync Pairs have the ability to reach a 6 star EX Potential rating.

Legendary Arena – From now until September 29 at 10:59 p.m. PT, players can take on the Legendary Pokemon Azelf in the Legendary Arena.

Another One-Year Anniversary Bonus – If you’ve completed at least Chapter 1 of the game’s main story, you can login to Pokemon Masters EX at any time from now until November 29 at 9:59 p.m. PT to receive a free gift of up to 3,000 Gems.
